Starbird Chicken
Refusing to play by fast food's rules.
The category had trained people to expect a tradeoff: speed or quality, convenience or craft.
An opportunity to reject that premise altogether.
We created We Refuse, a brand manifesto built around everything the brand wouldn’t compromise on—from ingredients and preparation to the experience itself.
From there came We Broke Up With Fast Food, a campaign that gave that philosophy a sharper cultural edge. Together, the work positioned the brand not as a better version of fast food, but as an alternative to it entirely—confident enough to challenge the category, clear about what it stands for, and built for people who believe convenience shouldn’t come at the expense of quality.
